get_network_graph

Returns the nodes and edges around one title: which titles cite it, which it cites, or both. Each edge carries a weight and the pinpoints on each side.

Parameters

Notes

• direction is in (what cites this title), out (what it cites) or both; inbound and outbound are accepted, in any case.
• One hop only. depth_applied reports what was used.
• edge_types is any of external_citation (between titles) and internal_cross_ref (within the title). The default is every type except internal_cross_ref.
• weight is the number of citations behind an edge. pinpoint.from and pinpoint.to list the provisions on each side, with from_distinct and to_distinct counting them.
• limit caps the edges, strongest first, at no more than 500. limit_requested and limit_applied say what was used.
• Law in force only. Both ends of every edge are in force, so "what cites this" leaves out citations from law that has ended. A title never cites itself here; the seed's self_references counts those.
• centrality on each node is a measure of how connected the title is across the whole corpus.
