get_amendment_history

Returns the amendment history recorded from the Federal Register for the compilations Advisor holds, and, where a title's endnotes are held as structured data, the history the compilation itself prints.

Notes

Not necessarily the whole history. coverage says how many compilations are held against the current compilation number; complete is true only when every one is. Earlier compilations are on the Federal Register.
amendment_history lists the version records held, newest first, each with its reasons: what was affected, which provisions and by which law (amended_by_title_id). Page it with versions_limit (default 20, at most 50) and versions_offset; versions_page gives the total and the next offset, and says when a page was cut to fit.
endnote_history is the compilation's own printed history: pass provision (for example "s 1317E" or "Part 2D.1") for one provision's rows, or omit it for the list of amending laws. offset and limit page this block, separately from the versions.
Endnotes are not law. Every endnote block carries not_law: true.
